Paul Collier

Professor of Economics and Director of the Centre for the Study of African Economies, Oxford University

Paul Collier specialises in research on fragile states, democratisation, and the management of natural resources in low income societies.

He was formerly director of the World Bank's research development department and is currently advisor to the strategy and policy department of the International Monetary Fund and advisor to the Africa region of the World Bank.
